JULY NEWS
As we approach August, Art Gateway will be undergoing numerous amounts of improvements and updates that will continue through to next year. Our goal is to utilize the site so we are able to EDUCATE, BRING TOGETHER and PROMOTE artists around the world. The site is still in the early months and we are very pleased with the response we have had from various artists and art lovers. Members from all over the world have joined and posted pictures on the community section.

Congratulations to Art Gateway member Maria Giulia Panunzio who, for the third consecutive year, won a competition held by the Italian Federation of Photography. One of her winning photos was published on the cover of their journal. Well done Maria!
Charitable Contributions
Art Gateway members Lisa Lukens and Carol Wagner donated one photograph each to be auctioned at The Bethesda Project’s annual black tie fundraising event. The Bethesda Project operates several homeless shelters in the city of Philadelphia PA USA. The fundraiser was a big success and they managed to reach their targeted financial goal. April News:
Thank you to all who entered the T-Shirt competition which concluded on 1 April. The entries were impressive in the creativity and dedication that the artists put into their designs. The decision process was very difficult since there would only be twelve winners and so many talented artists. After much deliberation, the winners have been chosen and are featured in the competition section. The winning designs are being submitted to the printer to have the merchandise made to be sold in our online Art Shop in the "Buy Merchandise" section. More information will be posted to the home page as this process progresses.
If your design was not chosen this time, there will always be more opportunities to try again in the future. Another competition will be coming this summer and it is certain to be a fun and exciting challenge. We always look forward to seeing more of your artistic talents. Please continue to post your work to your profile galleries. Encourage your fellow artists to become members and use your profile space to it's best advantage to market yourself to the art community at large as a serious, talented artist. Also, please take full advantage of the resources we have to offer: gallery listings, artist biographies, university listings, etc. You never know what will inspire you to create your next great piece of art.
March News: The Februarys site launch was a success, we already have people from all around the world joining our member section http://artgateway.ning.com/. The T Shirt Design competition is going good. Artists and designers are entering this competition every week. This is the last month of the competition, if you would like to enter click here.
February News: As a company we are always interested in making opportunities possible for people in the art industry as a result, we set up a worldwide competition for student graphic designers to design a logo for Art Gateway. Mark McCorkell from University of Ulster won the competition, so we would like to give him a big thank you and all of the people that entered. Visit Marks site here
